How much does a Recognise Card cost?

Your first year membership is FREE if you join before 31st August, then just €10 per year thereafter. This small fee assists with the IT and administration running and development costs of the platform to ensure that we continue to deliver the best value and experience for our members.

Do we get a physical card?

Accepted Answer

Currently, we do not use physical cards and use a more sustainable digital approach. Once approved, members can access their digital e-card under 'My Profile'. This can be shown to cashiers for any 'In-Store' offers, that are listed on the platform. For online offers, you just need to be logged in to the platform to reveal the code.

Who is eligible for a Recognise Card?

Recognise Card is available to people working in healthcare (HSE, nurses, doctors, paramedics, midwives and pharmacists), An Garda Síochána, the Fire & Rescue Service, the Irish Defence Forces (serving and reserve), the Coast Guard, professional and family carers, special needs assistants and frontline staff in registered Irish charities.

Can retired frontline workers apply?

Accepted Answer

Yes — retired healthcare workers, retired Gardaí, former defence forces members and retired fire service personnel are all eligible. Proof of previous service may be required during verification.

How long does it take to verify my eligibility?

Verification typically takes up to 5 working days once you've submitted your proof of work (a recent payslip, work ID, professional registration or employer letter).

Is Recognise Card available across the Republic of Ireland?

Yes — Recognise Card is available to eligible frontline workers across the Republic of Ireland. Online discounts work nationwide and our in-store partners are growing every month.

How do I use my discounts?

Once verified, you'll get access to your member portal where you can browse all partnered brand offers. For online deals, use the unique codes shown on each brand page. For in-store discounts, simply show your digital Recognise Card at the till.

Can I cancel my membership?

Your membership runs for 12 months from the date of purchase. You're not tied into an automatic renewal — at the end of the year, it's entirely up to you whether you renew.
