1. Terms and conditions for the online account
The terms and conditions below govern your use of the RecogniseCard.ie website. Recognise Card is operated by Recognise Card Ireland Ltd. When "Recognise Card", "we", "us" or "our" is mentioned below it refers to Recognise Card Ireland Ltd and includes its employees, directors and shareholders.
These terms relate to the use of the website, including online offers, gift cards and other saving options, the use of the Recognise Card, the process of purchasing it, and other services we may provide. Please read carefully. If you do not agree, do not use this website. By using the website, you agree to be bound by these terms and that you will not hold Recognise Card or any of its employees, directors or shareholders accountable for information contained (or not contained) on the website and any services it provides.
2. Eligibility
Membership is open to people working or volunteering in eligible frontline roles in the Republic of Ireland, including healthcare (HSE staff, nurses, doctors, carers and other health professionals), An Garda Síochána, the Defence Forces, Fire & Rescue, the Irish Coast Guard, Mountain Rescue, paramedics, social care workers, education staff, and other eligible frontline roles.
You must be at least 16 years old, normally resident in the Republic of Ireland and able to provide valid evidence of your eligibility (such as a recent payslip, work ID badge or professional registration). We reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership where eligibility cannot be verified.
3. Membership and your Recognise Card
A Recognise Card costs €10 per year. Membership is FREE until 31st August; after that date, membership begins once your application has been approved and your payment has been processed. Your card is valid for 12 months from the date of activation, after which it will expire unless you renew.
Your Recognise Card is personal to you. You may not share, copy, sell, transfer or allow anyone else to use your card, your account or any discount code obtained through the Service. We may suspend or cancel your membership without refund if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
4. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. By paying for membership you authorise us to charge the membership fee for the period selected at checkout. All amounts are quoted in euro (€) and include any applicable taxes.
Because membership grants immediate access to digital content (discount codes and offers), you acknowledge that the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 does not apply once you have begun accessing member benefits. We may, at our discretion, offer a refund within the first 14 days if you have not yet redeemed any offer.
5. Discounts and offers
Recognise Card provides discount codes and links for companies offering goods and services. Transactions with these companies take place on their external sites, not on the RecogniseCard.ie website. Those companies are responsible for transaction security on purchases you make.
Offers may be amended, restricted or withdrawn at any time without notice. Discounts may be subject to minimum spends, exclusions and the partner's own terms and conditions. We do our best to keep offers up to date but we cannot guarantee that any particular offer will be available at the time you choose to use it.
If an offer does not work, please notify us. If you continue with your purchase without the discount, you authorise the transaction with no discount. Any refund of the discount amount is at the company's discretion.
Some partner offers carry additional conditions. For example, the Sculpted by Aimee offer requires a minimum order of any 2 eligible items (no min. spend). It is not applicable for Bundle promotions, 3 for 2 product lines, and other exclusions apply. Please check the individual offer details before completing your purchase.
6. Your account
Registered members are responsible for keeping usernames and passwords secure and must take all necessary steps to avoid disclosure to unauthorised users. We may ask members to change their password at any time to protect the account.
Members must not create multiple accounts or try to change their member ID. If a password is forgotten, use the "forgotten password" link. If this does not work, contact us via the contact area of the website. Multiple accounts will not be approved. Email addresses can be updated in My Account when logged in.
Members must ensure their information is correct and up to date at all times. If your status changes, update your account or inform us. See our Privacy Notice for information we hold about you.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- copy, scrape, redistribute or commercially exploit any content from the Service;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, our systems or another member's account;
- upload documents that are not yours or that you are not entitled to share;
- abuse discount codes or other calls to action.
8. Intellectual property
The Recognise Card name, logo, website design and all related content (other than partner brand materials) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by Irish and international intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
All trademarks referred to on this website are acknowledged as the property of their respective owners. Recognise Card, its directors and employees cannot be liable for any copyright or trademark infringements.
9. Liability
We provide the Service on an "as is" basis and make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recognise Card is not liable for:
- the quality, safety or availability of any product or service offered by a partner brand;
- any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service;
- loss of data, profit or savings.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
The website contains links to third-party websites not maintained or controlled by us. While we choose companies carefully, we cannot be liable for material on these sites or any illegal or incorrect information they contain.
10. Suspending or cancelling membership
You may cancel your membership at any time through your account portal or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your membership if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service or fraudulently obtain a Recognise Card.
We may remove any user from the site, freeze their account and revoke membership without prior warning if we believe the member is, or could be, a security risk. We may remove any user found to be abusing discount codes or other calls to action and ban them from the website without the member's consent.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our partners or the law. Where changes are material we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

Use of this website is reserved for eligible frontline workers and volunteers in the Republic of Ireland. Eligibility criteria are determined by Recognise Card Ireland Ltd. Members must be aged 16+.

All companies listed on the website may add, amend or withdraw their offer at any time.
If an offer does not work, please notify us. If you continue with your purchase without the discount, you authorise the transaction with no discount. Any refund of the discount amount is at the company's discretion.
We display links and codes for companies wishing to offer discounts to members. Offer page information is provided directly by the company, so we cannot be responsible for errors, including non-working offers, outdated links or incorrect text.
Other ads on the website may be created and submitted by third parties. We do not accept liability for this material or any issues arising from it.

We use cookies to track sales made by members on third-party websites. No personal data is passed to third parties. We use member ID numbers with no relation to personal details. Affiliate networks
